QUEM DEVE PARTICIPAR?
- É indicado para quem procura um esporte que trabalhe simultaneamente o físico e a mente.
- É preciso passar por um exame médico antes de começar a praticar o jiu-jitsu.
- Não é indicado para pessoas com problemas cardíacos ou respiratórios, pois exige bastante da condição física do praticante.
- Crianças até os oito anos não devem praticar o esporte.
VANTAGENS
- Trabalha e define principalmente a área superior do corpo, como braços, ombros, abdômem e quadril.
- Aumenta a resistência do organismo.
- Melhora a capacidade cardiovacular e respiratória.
PERÍODO MÍNIMO PARA FAZER EFEITO:
- O praticante começa a sentir as diferenças no corpo e nas condições de luta entre 4 e 6 meses de prática do esporte, com uma freqüência de três vezes por semana.
GASTO CALÓRICO MÉDIO:
- 550 Kcal/h, para praticantes com alguma experiência, que consigam completar a aula toda.
RISCOS
- Por ser um esporte de contato, há risco de acidentes, principalmente esbarrões.
- Os movimentos do jiu-jitsu visam torções nas articulações. Quando um praticante demora a desistir da luta, pode sofrer lesões musculares.
- Alguns golpes são de impacto e podem provocar lesões.
