Aula de Funcional Sênior
O treinamento funcional tem o intuito de preparar o idoso para as atividades do dia-a-dia, prevenindo-o contra lesões, retardando o envelhecimento e evitando doenças crônicas como hipertensão, obesidade e diabetes, comuns na terceira idade.
Ele pode ser realizado com elásticos, cordas, cones, bancos, escadas, cadeiras etc. O foco é fazer com que eles treinem da forma mais parecida com as atividades que exercem na rotina, para que haja uma transferência de desempenho na hora que as forem colocar em prática, por exemplo: pegar roupas do chão, trocar coisas de lugar e tudo o que possa lhes ser útil.
