Quem deve praticar?
A partir dos 05 anos de idade, pode-se começar o treino de Karate. Para crianças menores, é importante que aula tenha características mais lúdicas, além das noções da luta.
Vantagens:
Os alongamentos podem ser realizados toda vez que você sentir vontade. No trabalho, no carro, assistindo TV. Podemos e devemos nos alongar de manhã, antes de começar o dia, no final do dia para aliviar as tensões acumuladas, depois de ficar sentado ou em pé muito tempo e principalmente antes e depois de atividades físicas.
Todas as pessoas podem aprender a fazer alongamentos independente da idade e do condicionamento físico. É gostoso fazer alongamentos quando se procede de forma correta, respeitando a sua estrutura muscular, sua flexibilidade e seus limites pessoais.
A regularidade e o relaxamento são os fatores mais importantes para o alongamento, que deve ser feito lentamente e sem tensionamento. Nada de balanceios, pois estes enrijecem o músculo que você esta tentando alongar. Assuma uma posição confortável e sustente-a, relaxando o músculo. Permaneça nesta posição de 10 a 30 segundos. Não segure a respiração, mantenha-se respirando de forma lenta e controlada.

Em um treino puxado, pode chegar a 800kcal/h.
Riscos:
Os riscos são proporcionais à prudência do professor, isto é, com um professor cuidadoso, o aluno corre poucos riscos de se machucar.
